Special show this week! We have not one, but TWO Goodwins on the show. Christopher Goodwin is a graduate assistant coach for the University of Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track & field teams. His sister, Kayla, is one of the top performers for the Jennies. They'll both be in studio this week.
Christopher Goodwin is a 15-time All-MIAA performer and four-time All-American who, in his final collegiate meet, set the school record in the long jump and claimed the national title.
Kayla Goodwin is a junior multi-event performer who has claimed six MIAA titles and has been an All-American seven times in the triple jump, indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon. And THAT is with missing the 2022 outdoor season with an injury.
It'll be a special show with these two New Zealand natives. We'll learn about their experiences, what drives them, and life in their home country. All that, plus we'll share some UCM athletics history and take a peak at what is coming this week for the Mules and Jennies.
